The Jungle (Wheldon Road) Castleford

The Mend-A-Hose Jungle (formerly known as Wheldon Road) is the home of Castleford Tigers RLFC. The stadium is approximately 1 km (a 1/2 mile) east of Castleford Town Centre.

By bus

Castleford Bus Station is regularly served by buses from Leeds (140, 141), Wakefield (189) and Pontefract (140, 141).


The stadium is a 10-15 minute walk away from the town centre via Aire Street and Wheldon Road.

By train

Castleford Rail Station is regularly served by trains from Wakefield, Barnsley and Sheffield, Pontefract and Leeds.
